Overview
Breach Commander is available in several editions to support organizations at different levels of operational maturity and complexity.
Each edition builds on the preceding edition, from focused internal incident orchestration to professional service delivery, advanced auditing, integrations, and customized enterprise deployments.
Available editions
Core
Core provides a focused introduction to structured incident orchestration.
It is designed for internal teams that need essential playbooks, reporting, automated summaries, analytics, and consistent case management without complex role assignments.
Core supports one managed organization and is licensed per seat for internal use.
Standard
Standard expands Breach Commander to support collaborative incident management across multiple operational roles and organizations.
It includes role-based orchestration, task delegation, advanced playbooks, graphical playbook views, case exports, and support for up to three managed organizations.
Standard is intended for organizations coordinating incidents internally across teams, departments, or subsidiaries.
Spectator users who do not hold paid operational roles can participate without consuming a seat.
Pro
Pro provides the complete Breach Commander platform for advanced internal programs and professional service delivery.
It adds capabilities such as:
- Unlimited managed organizations
- Advanced statistics and organizational comparisons
- Built-in auditing
- Auditor roles
- Custom case steps
- API access
- Case import and export
- Commercial and professional service use
Pro is designed for consultants, managed service providers, regulated organizations, insurers, and mature incident-response programs.
Enterprise
Enterprise provides a customized deployment and commercial agreement for customers with advanced technical, contractual, hosting, or support requirements.
Enterprise options may include:
- Multiple tenant environments
- White-label deployment
- Custom hosting and geographical regions
- Customer-provided AI credentials
- Customer-controlled file storage
- Enterprise training and support
- Custom integrations and architecture
Enterprise deployments are planned directly with the Breach Commander team.
Seats and spectator users
A seat allows a user to hold paid operational roles such as:
- Incident Commander
- Business Lead
- Technical Lead
- Legal Counsel
- Auditor
Standard, Pro, and Enterprise environments may also include spectator users.
Spectator users can follow cases, participate in discussions, upload files, and generate reports, but they cannot be assigned paid operational roles.
To avoid disrupting an active incident, administrators may permit temporary role assignments beyond the subscribed seat count. Additional seat consumption is measured and billed according to the applicable subscription terms.
Internal and professional use
Core and Standard are intended for managing incidents within the subscribing organization or corporate group.
Pro and Enterprise may be used to deliver commercial services to external organizations, subject to the applicable agreement.
Organizations providing incident response, consulting, insurance, breach coaching, legal, auditing, or managed services should select an edition that permits professional service use.
Hosting and data location
Standard application environments are available in multiple geographical regions to support performance and data-location requirements.
Enterprise customers may request additional Azure regions, specialized cloud environments, customer-controlled hosting, or on-premises deployment. Availability depends on the selected architecture and service agreement.
AI and file storage options
Breach Commander uses configured AI services to provide AI-assisted capabilities.
Enterprise customers may be able to provide their own AI API credentials so that eligible requests are processed through their own provider account.
Enterprise customers may also be able to provide their own Azure Blob Storage environment for file storage.
Choosing an edition
Consider the following when selecting an edition:
- Number of managed organizations
- Number of users holding operational roles
- Need for collaborative role assignments
- Auditing and analytics requirements
- Case import or export requirements
- API and integration requirements
- Internal versus professional service use
- Hosting and data-location requirements
- Need for customized support or deployment
